ART FOR AUTISM

Lois Ostrov is an award winning artist from Bay Harbor Island, Florida.

She studied at the University of Cincinnati and at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and taught in the Mt. Healthy City School District for 25 years. She has studied with Elwin Porter, Skip Lawrence, Paul Lucchesi, and Inez Hollander.

Ms. Ostrov's favorite painting media is watercolor. She works in other media including acrylic, mixed media, and clay. Her eclectic style includes landscape, floral, figurative, and abstact images.

Ms. Ostrov recent awards include First Place in the Florida Professional Artists Guild and in the Miami/Dade Watercolor Society. She has also won many awards in juried shows sponsored by the Broward Art Guild. Her work was on display in Orlando with the Florida Watercolor Society. Many paintings hang in private and commercial collections throughout the United States.
