Anna Nummelin, DNPc, ARNP, is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Vitality Health and Wellness. She specializes in functional, holistic, and integrative medicine, working together with patients to help them achieve optimal health and wellbeing. Anna has been trained in functional and orthomolecular medicine by Dr. Levinson and has experience in working with children on the autism spectrum. She brings a compassionate, holistic, and individualized approach to her care for patients of all ages.
In addition to Anna's work as a Nurse Practitioner, she is also a nationally-known competitive endurance athlete, competing in multi-day adventure races around the country. Anna’s experience in endurance sports combined with her knowledge of health and nutrition make her an excellent resource for athletes looking to achieve their peak athletic potential, maximize the body's efficiency, and gain a competitive edge. In 2009 Anna's adventure racing team was ranked as the number 1 team in Florida and the 6th best team in the country.
Anna received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire, and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies. She is currently completing her Doctoral Studies in Nursing at the University of Miami, with her culminating capstone project focusing on identifying and reducing exposure to toxic substances in the home environment. |
